Good Bluesy Ending

This a great professional Blues ending to use with any blues or boogie-woogie tunes. Here is what it sounds like. I am going to play it in the key of C. I’m sure you have heard it a million times. You are going to play that on the last chord of the tune. If you are playing in the key of C that would be a C chord. You start out playing a C two octaves apart.

Just call WGCU and let them know you’d love to see the Piano Guy show again! There are 180+ episodes that are free to the station to air. We’ll be re-upping the rights in about a month, with a new low-cost way for the stations to ingest the episodes, so call your friends and have ’em all let WGCU know you’d love to get the show back on. Thanks!

Scott.. that little blues ending sounds just like the intro in the theme song for the 007 film The Spy Who Loved Me.
You hear that same little bit as the intro just before Carly Simon starts singing “Nobody does it better….”

I’m a keyboardist in a local band here in New Orleans. I learned to play by ear YEARS ago, but of course with nobody showing me any tricks I missed a few good tidbits. Watching your videos has proven to be priceless to me, especially because I wasn’t formally trained. Keep up the great work! And to all who watch these videos, glean what you can from them. Much of this you may already know, but there are a lot of tricks that you may have missed. Kudos to the Piano Guy! ~ D.d.
